We ran to another area, and I caught an undersized red on a topwater. Then we checked out a spot we haven't fished much this year. For good reason. Nothing going on.
So we stopped off at a place where there's been reds in previous Septembers. I catch a red on topwater exactly where the fish should be. But my fish seems to be the only one home.

Our last stop was a marsh where there was a school in the past month. But the school is gone. We managed a few scattered fish, and Dwayne hooked a nice trout that spit the hook next to the boat.
It was a fun morning of fishing.
